Guess who's still awake for F.T Island! 8DDDThe showcase: They cut it down to half an hour for TV and man does it speed through, but... highlights!dude, I just saw Shrek babbling in Korean and that's amusing me a lot right nowIt started with a lot of random clips, some group interview type chatter and introductions, I was mostly just staring because Jonghoon actually looked pretty good to me, but then, individual member intros and clips from their performances of assorted songs started!Leadersshi Jonghoon was first to be interviewed, they showed a bunch of old clips, plus him playing a little guitar solo on stage at the showcase.So reo reo was the first actual song to show--it's a very catchy little song, Hongki sounds fucking LOVELY live, I can't stress that enough. Wonbin does some little harmonies, guh ♥♥♥Jaejin's interview/clips are next, and a funky little bass solo on stage! That boy is too cute, with his highlights and his perfect teeth. u.uThen, cheondung aired next--it struck me as... almost spanish-ballad in flavor, as far as the instruments were concerned? Again, very nice~Minhwan's interview/clips, he's growing on me but OMG middle school, that's really tragic. But! At the end of his segment, they show Wonbin cuddling on him and Wonbin's ARRRMMMMMSSS make my brain matter melt out my ears. Oops! Like seriously, I was so busy staring at them that I missed most of the title of the next song and had to go compare what I had caught of it with their tracklist to see which it was --;It was... cheotkiseu! It's acoustic, and the 5 of them just came up to sit on a little platform stage at the front of the main stage and groove up there... Hongki passed the enormous teddybear into the audience during this one.Wonbin's interview/clips came next. I'm a pedo. OMG his arms, he's in this sleeveless thing like FOREVER AND ALWAYS and I am a big supporter of that. Also, there was a really adorable snippet of him and Jaejin waving sparklers around and kinda cuddling on each other and being so cute it hurts.Next song was sarangalhi--so much love for this, Hongki's fucking brilliant and I can't get over how strong his live singing voice is.Time for Hongki's interview/clips~ One of them had him singing in the background in this lovely raspy rock voice, and I died a little. Or a lot. *~~~~~*The final song was haengbokhamnida--Wonbin played the harmonica, it was cute! His voice was almost too sweet for the rap in this, though... I don't know how else to describe his voice besides SWEET, it's so at odds with his image. 8DMore to come after M!Countdown gets around to their part... so far, I see Kangin and Shindong MCing, and CSJH are performing. Surprise, my player started buffering and lagging out a bit when the big show started... --; I'mma be pissed if it does this for F.T. Island's part.M!Countdown: It introduced them with a clip (from their showcase, I think) of F-T-I-S-L-A-N-D Let's Go!, then the cameras panned to their stage and they played sarangalhi. Hongki was seriously into that song, I thought he was actually going to start crying, partway through. 8D Wonbin's arms are incredibly fucking distracting, yo. They know what they're doing, putting him in those sleeveless things! His rap was awesome, with the whole stage filling with smoke and just glowing with lights.... All-in-all, it was very cool, I'm not sorry I stayed up and I didn't get tired until the very end, but I'mma go sleep now~
